OUR STORY
Faith Healing and Anointing Temple was established on September 15, 2003. The Articles of Incorporation and Constitution was completed and established through the State of Maryland and we are a 501c organization. Faith Healing and Anointing Temple would now be recognized by the State of Maryland as a non-profit non-denominational church that believes in the Bible, the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Faith Healing and Anointing Temple was birthed through the obedience of Drs. Clinton and Joyce Sherrod. Bible study and church services were originally held in the basement of Drs. Clinton and Joyce Sherrod’s home. Drs. Clinton and Joyce Sherrod were installed as Pastor and Co-Pastor of this Holy Foundation on December 20, 2003, thus began the journey.
Faith Healing and Anointing Temple first church service was officiated on Sunday, January 4, 2004 at The Best Western Hotel in Oxon Hill, MD. Dr. Clinton Sherrod gave the first message to the members and visitors of Faith Healing and Anointing Temple. God did not leave anything out when this great branch of faith was established. At the inception of the ministry, Faith Healing and Anointing Temple was fully equipped and ready for battle. The Deacons and Deaconess Ministries, FHA leadership team, FHA Warriors Praise Team, Christ Sent Fellowship Choir and the Angels of the Atmosphere Praise Dance team all were established and participated in the first church service on January 04, 2004.
Faith Healing and Anointing Temple grew quickly and through the faithfulness and obedience of Drs. Clinton and Joyce Sherrod and the faithful members, before the year was out God had a bigger plan in store for the ministry. On December 20, 2004, God opened the doors of heaven and blessed Faith Healing and Anointing Temple with a new edifice. The new worship center was located at 4400 Stamp Road, Suite 100, Temple Hill, Maryland 20748. Faith Healing and Anointing Temple stepped out on faith and moved into this new edifice on February 1, 2005. The first service at this location was held on Sunday, February 13, 2005. Faith, Healing and Anointing Temple publicly celebrated God’s blessing with a Grand Opening which was held on March 12, 2005.
Faith Healing and Anointing Temple has grown in the Spirit of God and membership. God has given this ministry a great vision and mission that incorporates all people of all nationalities. Drs. Clinton and Joyce Sherrod have carried the vision of true shepherds and have been obedient to the voice of God for the past seven years. There is still much that He is calling this ministry to do. Faith Healing and
Anointing Temple stands firmly on knowing that God has a great assignment for this ministry that will impact millions of people locally and globally. Faith Healing and Anointing Temple is Armed and
Dangerous and Ready for Battle. The best is yet to come!!

GODS VISION FOR THIS MINISTRY IS TO EQUIP THE WHOLE MAN, MIND, BODY AND SOUL. TO ENSURE THAT EVERY MAN BE SPIRIT FILLED AND SPIRIT LED BY FAITH. MAKING DISCIPLES AND REACHING ALL NATIONALITIES LOCALLY AND GLOBALLY.

Dr. Clinton Sherrod was born and raised in Tarboro, NC on October 27, 1964. Pastor Clinton is a visionary. He is a loving and devoted husband to the awesome Dr. Joyce T. Sherrod. Dr. Sherrod is the loving father of NaShonda Sherrod and his niece Candace Battle.
Dr. Clinton Sherrod along with his wife Dr. Joyce Sherrod founded Faith Healing and Anointing Temple, currently located in Temple Hills, Md., on September 15, 2003.
Dr. Sherrod is a true Shepherd, comforter to his flock, a leader in integrity and character. He is truly an imitator of Christ, a man who loves God, loves God’s people and is anointed and appointed to preach and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Dr. Sherrod received his early education in the North Carolina Public Schools and graduated from North Edgecombe High School in June 1983. Dr. Sherrod has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Leadership, a Masters of Arts Degree in Leadership and a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership all from Faith University and Schools, located in Temple Hills, MD.
Dr. Sherrod is a recipient of an Award of Appreciation from the PG County Government in December 2007. He also received the Presidential Prestige Award in May 2009 from the Faith University and Schools.
He is a true believer of preparing the people to become true disciples and he spends his time and energy imparting the word of God in all who will listen. He who has a desire let him hear.

Dr. Joyce Sherrod is a loving and devoted wife to her husband Dr. Clinton Sherrod. She is the loving mother of NaShonda Sherrod and her niece Candace Battle. She is a powerful woman of God, a visionary, a woman with a true prophetic Word from God. She is a loving and nurturing Spiritual mother. A woman of God that loves His Word loves His people and is passionate to carry out the assignment that God has given her. Dr. Sherrod always says to her flock, “We have to come up a little bit higher, “Luke 14:10”.
Dr. Joyce Sherrod was educated in the North Carolina Public Schools System and graduated from Southwest High School in June of 1983.
Dr. Sherrod has a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Leadership, a Masters of Arts Degree in Leadership and a Doctorate of Ministry in Leadership all from Faith University and Schools, located in Temple Hills, MD.
Dr. Joyce Sherrod has a heart for the people. She maintains and teaches a spirit of servitude and excellence. Dr. Sherrod is firm in teaching the pure and unadulterated word of God.
Dr. Joyce Sherrod has been preaching and teaching the word of God for the last 13 years. She is sold out, rooted and planted in the word of God and is ready to win souls for the kingdom.
